Why I switched to Barve Browser

After using Chrome for very long time the privacy was no more private, terms and condition setting were maze to understand. So I decided to switch to another browser which is fast, user-friendly, and provide many function like other browser.

So I after googling I came up with one solution Brave Browser which was new at that time.So I thought lets give a chance to this one and it was remarkably amazing choice.
So this is my experience after using several month and I will share the merits and demerits of this browser.

Key Points

  1. Speed
  2. Privacy
  3. Security
  4. Payment Proof
  5. Open-Source (base on chromium)

Great Privacy on BRAVE

We all know that giant company like Google, Facebook, Twitter and many other company take our data like location, speech, media, behaviour pattern and etc and sells to Advertisement company for giant  profit.

Brave blocks ads by default (unlike Chrome, which requires a 3rd-party extension such as AdBlock).Brave blocks 3rd-party tracking by default.

On Chrome, mega-advertisers like Google and Facebook use 3rd-party cookies to track your browsing on nearly every website.By blocking 3rd-party cookies, Brave limits the amount of data Facebook, Google, and other ad networks can collect about your browsing habits.

Brave stores all your browsing data locally on your computer, which means you can delete it at any time.
Brave supports Tor browsing, making it the first all-purpose browser to do so.

FASTER THAN OTHER BROWSERS

Browse the web up to 8x faster than Chrome and Safari.
Brave loads major news sites 2 to 8 times faster than Chrome/Safari on mobile and 2 times
faster than Chrome on desktop.

BLOCK UNWANTED CONTENTS

Browse confidently with default settings that block phishing, malware, and malvertising. Also, plugins, which have proven to be a security risk, are disabled by default.

You can customize the setting as per the page and track all the record and see how many ads and trackers are been blocked by the brave.

SECURITY

  1. In terms of security: http to https (so I don't need to worry while making credit card payments or buying something, because Brave takes care of https)
  2. blocks scripts, trackers and ads, and that's why the sites don't get stuck n freezed while browsing. I have had many incidents with IE, Chrome and Mozilla, where the sites like forbes, cnn, slickdeals and coinmarketcap would get stuck n freeze for no fucking reason and it shows that site is not responding. I never had this issue on Brave. This is because Brave blocks scripts, ads and trackers. It gives you smooth browsing experience.
  3. And the dashboard where it shows how many ads, trackers and scripts were blocked is awesome.

  4. This shouldn't be here but still including: the best browser for watching porn - if you watch porn on Mozilla, chrome or IE, you will see infinite popup windows, several trackers and ads, infinite backlinks and scripts that would screw your browser and might inject some virus but Brave blocks almost everything except the main content lol... very smooth experience on Brave.

CONCULSION

Barve browser more focus on privacy, security and speed. It doesn't sell our data to any third party and it keep our private information on our devices. It provides many ad-blockers and tracker by default. As it is open source project so many contributor provides many cool features regarding to privacy and security.

macOS Catalina 10.15

                 macOS Catalina 10.15

Preview Image

macOS Catalina is the 16th major release of macOS, Apple's desktop operating system for its computer line-up of devices. Officially deemed version 10.15, Apple continues to derive its core OS from Unix while adding many new features to augment the existing framework of services that users have come to know and love. This time out Apple has further experimented with the macOS DNA to inject iPad functionality, as well as extending the working environment for users of both device types.
Technical requirements:

  • OS X 10.8 or later
  • 2 GB of memory
  • 15 GB of available storage to perform upgrade
  • Some features require an Apple ID
  • Some features require internet access

R.I.P iTunes.

Yes you heard it right iTunes is no more. You won’t find iTunes app that we’ve been using on our Mac for nearly two decades on new macOS Catalina. But don’t worry guys iTunes is replaced by new apps (AppleMusic, ApplePodcasts, AppleTV)

Well tackle apps in macOS Catalina

Apple Music: Now your entire purchases and ripped music library and playlists will be in Music
Apple TV: your Movies and TV Shows libraries will be in TV.
Apple Podcasts: now you can save your podcasts in dedicated app provided in macOS Catalina

Devices Supporting macOS Catalina?
  • MacBook Pro: 2012 and later
  • MacBook Air: 2012 and later
  • Mac Mini: 2012 and later
  • iMac: 2012 and later
  • iMac Pro: 2017 and later
  • Mac Pro: 2013 and later, with a Metal-capable GPU

When will macOS Catalina be available?
Apple began to seed the very first version of macOS Catalina. A beta billed as the Developer's Preview will give registered developers first access to Catalina to begin testing their applications and port iPad apps over to macOS for cross-platform support (if they choose to do so). In recent years,
Apple has opened registration to allow end users to download and install betas of macOS for testing purposes. The Public Beta program is available as of June 24, 2019.
Apple will release multiple iterations of each in a concerted effort to locate and squash bugs that could otherwise render devices unusable. If you want to wait for Apple to finishing working out any kinks and polish the OS, it's advisable to hold off until the final release is available in the Fall of 2019.

How can I get macOS Catalina?
Mac enthusiasts who are already registered with the Apple Beta Program will be able to download the macOS Catalina package later this summer and upgrade their supported Mac computer to test out the newest features for free—in exchange for allowing Apple to collect crash logs and bug reports of the still-in-production software to correct issues prior to the final code release.

Worldwide release of macOS Catalina is expected to arrive as a free download on the Mac App Store during the Fall of 2019.

What if I don’t (or can’t) update my Mac to Catalina?
Apple is billing the new media apps as a Catalina feature, so presumably older Macs will stick with iTunes for the foreseeable future. It’s possible that Apple sends out a future update to older version of macOS that deprecates iTunes, but that hasn’t been announced.

How do I manage my iTunes account?
Managing your iTunes account works pretty much the same way as it does now. Each of the media apps will have an “Account” menu in the top bar, where you’ll find the usual options: Authorizations, Sign Out, etc. Click on View My Account and you’ll be taken to your usual account page, where you can update your credit card info and address, and see your purchases.
